Both the twins are very different from each other, but both of them dream to become a cop. The story begins with Nisha's father (Siddharth) who is a corrupt police officer, once again letting his son's dreams shatter. Rahul is promoted as an inspector, but he is known by all as an "idiot. Nisha's father asks her to have a baby sister named Rachita. Nisha's father decides to arrange the wedding of Rachita with Rahul, but he has already fallen for Georgia (Aditi Rao Hydari), who is a friend of Gita (Shreya Ghoshal). Georgia and Gita are childhood friends and both the girls had been in love with Rahul, but had not told him due to their promise that neither of them will get married before the other. Georgia and Rahul marry and had a child Boi (Diana Penty). But Georgia secretly cheated on Rahul, leading him to hate her. One night Rahul sees Georgia with another man. Boi is at her grandmother's house and Rahul goes to pick them up. He takes Boi away, but leaves Georgia alone. The story then moves 15 years ahead, where Nisha is now a police inspector (Sheena Bajaj) and she has been in love with Rahul's friend, Rohit (Rohit Roy) who is also an inspector in the same department.
